Cancellation Policy

The Client will be provided with a detailed list of tasks to be completed, and the cleaners will strictly adhere only to the items outlined in the agreed-upon checklist. If there are additional services or specific areas that the Client needs cleaned, they must inform The Business prior to their scheduled cleaning appointment. Preparation: ● It is strongly recommended that The Client clear excessive clutter and remove valuable belongings from surfaces prior to the cleaning. ● The Business reserves the right to refuse service for excessively cluttered areas (over 75% covered) unless informed in advance. Such areas may require additional preparation, extended service time, and incur extra charges. ● All roaming pets must be kept away from the cleaning areas for the safety of both the pets and cleaning staff. The Business is not liable for incidents arising from pets being present during service. ● The Client must ensure the Business has unobstructed access to the cleaning area at the scheduled service time. If necessary, the Client agrees to provide a key or access code in advance. The Business is not responsible for missed appointments caused by the Client’s failure to provide access. ● Payment is due end of day, on the day The Client receives the invoice. They can pay only via cash or e-transfer to the email grimegenies@gmail.com ● For cleanings exceeding $250.00 CAD, payment must be paid in full at least 24 hours prior to service. ● In the event of delayed payments, the Client will be required to maintain a valid payment card on file for all future transactions with the Business. ● Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled cleaning will be rescheduled at no charge. ● Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning will incur a $50 CAD cancellation fee. ● The Business reserves the right to adjust the quoted price if the actual conditions differ significantly from those described by the Client, or if the scope of work is more extensive than initially anticipated. In this event, the client will immediately be contacted to confirm any new estimated rate - prior to The Business resuming the cleaning. ● Overdue payments will incur a late fee of $15 CAD per day. ● If the cleaner is unable to access the property due to circumstances beyond their control, a $25 fee will be charged after a 15-minute wait.
